Luis Villasenor has put together a wonderful website and community exploring the benefits of the ketogenic diet. He successfully challenges myths that you can’t gain muscle on ketogenic diet and that you have to maintain super low carbohydrates in the diet to stay ‘keto’.

Dr. Attia is something of a renaissance man in the fact that he’s a practicing physician, co-founder of NuSi (the Nutrition Science Initiative), and a hard core endurance athlete. He’s somewhat of a bio hacker and tinkerer which makes for some interesting experiments with the ketogenic diet, including taking in 100+ grams of carbs and remaining in ketosis during high volume endurance events.
